Local medical equipment provider, Pharma Supply's Advocate brand of products was highlighted at this year's annual American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) in San Diego, California.
The Advocate monitoring systems were participants this year in a variety of accuracy studies, and were very well received by the diabetes education community as a whole. Attendees were thoroughly impressed with the precision and affordability of the Advocate product line.
Notably the Advocate brand exemplified the launching of the new Redi-Code Dash, which is the most recent meter to join the extensive line of products. The Dash is a portable, non-calibrating meter, offered in six distinctive colors.

Pharma Supply, a long time donor to altruistic causes, provided Redi-Code blood-glucose monitoring kits to be included in the gift bags given to the teens as well as monetary support to aid with the event. The annual affair is comprised of teens from all over the country rallying together as a sign of unity to negate the erroneous perception that diabetes will hinder them from fulfilling their profound potential.

"Feria de Salud" for Healthcare Awareness Takes Over Miami's Tropical Park
Pharma Supply Inc. joins the American Diabetes Association and other businesses in South Florida to celebrate diabetes awareness in the Latin-American community
With an atmosphere of “fuerza positive” (power of positive) the annual “Feria De Salud: Por tu Familia” took place Sunday, November 21st in honor of International Diabetes Month. The celebration, which was held from 10am to 3pm at Tropical Park in Miami, FL, promoted familial wellbeing within the Latin-American community. The festivities incorporated complimentary health diagnostics including cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, and bone density checks, as well as peripheral neuropathy foot screenings, hearing and vision tests, osteoporosis, waist circumference, and body mass index analysis. Many people are not familiar with the effects of diabetes, and/or do not know how to treat it. Subsequently the fair also integrated volunteer healthcare educators in an effort to inform attendees on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and manage diabetes. The festival included music along with dancing, world renowned chefs demonstrating wholesome and delicious recipes, and speakers discussing current diabetes issues. Representatives of Pharma Supply were present to give away complimentary gifts as well as exhibit the Advocate line of bilingual, English-Spanish blood glucose, and blood pressure monitoring systems.
